Job Title: Senior E-Commerce Team Lead

Job purpose

The exciting opportunity has arisen for an eCommerce Manager with demonstrable experience in a similar results-driven role. You will join the Chelsea Peers team’s already successful high growth DTC eCommerce retail fashion brand based in London.

The mission of the eCommerce Manager is to build a leading eCommerce experience, delivering continuous improvement to their eCommerce channels, including CRM systems, Digital Marketing and Website(s) from a conversion and user experience perspective.

Building and managing the daily activities of the eCommerce function, you will work closely with other areas of the business and utilise data to identify areas of improvement and address these on an ongoing basis.

Role Overview

  • Experience to develop an ambitious roadmap for our eCommerce channels that deliver improvements and drives results through an ongoing CRO program.
  • You will have proven experience in managing a team, driving projects forward, creating and managing processes, and communicating with wider teams/individuals.
  • An appreciation for what a world-class website experience looks like in terms of CRM Acquisition/ Retention Strategies, UX/UI and Web design is required, as is an analytical approach and data/insight skills are desirable to help identify key opportunities to achieve growth.

Role Objectives

  • Shape and oversee the delivery of an industry-leading eCommerce website, CRM platform and responsible for data analysis and reporting.
  • Achieve CVR and AOV rate targets
  • Establish a merchandising program for the business and ensure this is running on an ongoing basis.
  • Carry out a thorough audit of the existing Google Analytics setup in order to gain a sound understanding of data and to provide a list of recommendations for improvements.

Role Responsibilities

  • Oversee design and development of eCommerce CRM and website to deliver business objectives
  • Design and execute delivery of website roadmap executing Brand Marketing campaigns on all eCommerce platforms.
  • Developing a calendar or eCommerce retail strategies.
  • Develop the eCommerce team and department processes
  • Work with wider teams to ensure our company brand Marketing calendar is adhered to and delivered effectively.
  • Utilise data skills and knowledge of the business to identify new opportunities to improve our websites from both a user experience and conversion perspective.
  • Use a prioritisation framework to turn these opportunities into a roadmap for the eCommerce Team. Manage this on an ongoing basis.
  • Drive the CRO program for the business, with responsibility for devising, running and measuring A/B tests in line with the roadmap and opportunities
  • Measure the performance of these tests and communicate results with wider teams/stakeholders in a clear, easy-to-understand way (where required)
  • Ensure websites are being proactively merchandised on an ongoing basis, inline with data and business requirements
  • Ensure Brand and design principles are considered at all times with new designs and website features
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure website changes/tests are launched in the most effective manner
  • Be responsible for the reporting and communication of website performance.

Skills, Competencies, Experience & Personal Attributes

  • Track record of improving websites and managing a website roadmap
  • Proven experience in running CRO tests and improving the conversion rate of a site(s)
  • Hands-on experience using CRM and CRO software.
  • Ability to analyse data accurately and turn this into meaningful insight
  • Ability to communicate findings effectively
  • An expert-level understanding of Google Analytics
  • Experience with managing teams
  • Ability to effectively prioritise projects through accurately assessing ease and impact
  • A base-level understanding of UX/UI design principles and branding
  • An inherent ability to think differently and spot new ideas/opportunities
  • A genuine passion for all things digital
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
