Product

Our pursuit of perfection means we’re constantly looking for ways to deliver the highest quality designs that are also kinder to the earth. Our dedicated team of in-house designers take pride in hand-drawing every unique print as well as sourcing more eco-friendly fabrications and approaches to techniques. While we aim to increase the percentage of eco-friendly fabrications used within each season, we have four core fabrications which are most loved by our customers and community.

Cotton

Cotton is one of our most loved fibres and associated with premium products. It’s a soft, fluffy, natural fibre that grows around the seeds of cotton plants. The fibre is known for its breathability and versatility, as it can be spun into fabrics of various thicknesses to adjust their strength, warmth and hand feel.

We are proud that 81% of our cotton clothing range is made with GOTS-certified organic cotton fibres which have been processed, manufactured and labelled in a way that aligns with the strict ecological and social guidelines set by the Global Organic Textile Standard, the world’s leading textile processing standard for organic fibres. The standard certifies that over 70% of a garment is organic cotton and ensures workers’ rights are protected, conditions are safe, wastewater is monitored and dyes are low-impact.

Satin

Satin is a smooth, glossy, silky fabric used to create some of our most luxurious and fashion-forward pieces. We’re proud that 83% of our satin range is synthetic and made with recycled polyester which has a luxurious shine and good drape. Currently 10% of the total range is recycled satin. We’ve even added a comfy level of stretch for good measure.

GRS-certified recycled polyester fibres, made from already existing, non-biodegradable materials, have gone through third-party certification drawn out by the GRS (Global Recycled Standard). This is a voluntary standard that verifies the presence and amount of recycled content in textiles, ensuring full traceability of a raw materials journey from source to final product.

Modal

Part of the viscose family, modal is a man-made fabric created by a process of transforming the wood pulp of beech trees into textile fibres. Lightweight and breathable, our modal is slinky and super-soft, with a flattering drape and a little stretch for comfort.

Polyester

Many of our bestsellers and widely recognised novelty prints come in recycled polyester jersey. This fabric is used across our full product range and 99% of our jersey polyester products are made of GRS-certified polyester fibres, thus created from already existing, non-biodegradable materials.

Depending on the season, we incorporate a range of additional fabrics to appeal to the changes in temperature. During Autumn Winter, the collections often include velour - the plush fabric that is knitted with a hint of elastane for the comfiest stretch and has a three-dimensional texture with luxurious shine. We also introduce fleece, particularly, coral fleece which has a mid-weight, ultra-soft feel as well as textured borg which is the luxurious pile material with long fibres, often likened to sheepskin.

In Spring Summer, our collections include a larger variety of more breathable cotton-blends like cheesecloth and poplin which are known for their related texture and soft, breathable feel. Linen-blends are also a popular addition which offers a lightweight alternative to your pyjama draw.
